AESTHETICS OF THE INVISIBLE
Cyanobacteria can grow in all kinds of different colors. This color determines which part of the sunlight they can absorb in order to grow. Simone Smelt created three minimalistic light objects that show a color palette of algae, to zoom out and reveal the aesthetics of the invisible world of microbes.
The Aesthetics of the Invisible is open for public at Micropia (artis royal zoo) from the 20th of april till the end of august
